Our guest house is located at around 1,400 meters above sea level in sunny Meransen (up to 280 days of sunshine a year!) and provides a breathtaking view of the Eisacktal and Pustertal valleys as well as the Dolomites. Hiking, skiing sightseeing… whatever you like to do our location serve asa central starting point for many holiday activities.

Although our family-run Residence Rastbichl is a small house it has a lot to offer. In addition to our indoor pool, our guests get access to our compact sauna area. Sufficient parking spaces are available directly at the house and with our passenger lift you have access to every floor. In the bright and cozy common room, we serve a rich continental breakfast (optional for our apartment guests) and our little visitors have a lot to discover outside the house.

We try to work as resource-efficiently as possible and attach great importance to sustainability.

The sunny village of Maranza is located at the entrance to the Pustertal Valley in South Tyrol. The village is part of the municipality of Rio di Pusteria, which lies directly on the Pustertal state road (SS49) and not far from the Brenner motorway (A22).

If you like to come by public transport, you get easily to Rio di Pusteria by bus or by train and afterwards you can use the cable car up to Maranza. In winter, the ski bus stop is close to our house and the village centre is a 15-minute walk away from Residence Rastbichl.
